Neopoetic composition on the somatic canvas is underscored by the generative matrix of the neopoetic system, a modular collection of sensate ideas that engender the formation of an experiential new poetics. The foundational archetype for the system is the Poetics of Aristotle and its relation to the classical Greek mythic drama. As Aristotle's Poetics illuminates an array of elements integral to composition of the ancient poetic art (plot, character, thought, diction, song and spectacle), the neopoetic system articulates a collection of dynamic components that extend the human neurosensory system into emergent perceptual hyperspaces. The six elements of the neopoetic system are: virtual kinesphere, essential gesture, kinetic interface, extended embodiment, experiential metaphor, the rheomode, and neopoetic mythos.
